The sold out 3rd annual Collin Rose Memorial Golf Outing will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Cherry Creek Golf Club at 52000 Cherry Creek Drive in Shelby Township.
Beer on the course is provided along with Pepsi products and bottled water. A hot dog lunch will be provided at the turn. Cash bar begins at the Cherry Creek club house at 2 p.m. followed by a smoke house buffet dinner for all players starting at 2:30 p.m.
As a reminder, this event is first come first serve and payments were due April 22 to secure your spot at Cherry Creek. You’re welcome to golf elsewhere and join us for dinner. Dinner tickets are available in our gift shop at collinrosememorial.org/shop
The collectible two-inch challenge coin honors the late Officer Collin Rose and his partner K-9 Clyde. The front features Collin's badge and end of watch. The back features K-9 Clyde in front of a subdued Thin Blue Line Flag. This coin was commissioned at the request of Collin’s survivors.

The collectible two-inch challenge coin honors the memory of the late Officer Collin Rose. The front features Collin's picture and badge across a subdued thin blue line flag. The back features the patches of the two police departments he worked for, the Greek letters from his fraternity, a K-9 drug enforcement logo and the rose from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C.
The collectible two-inch challenge coin honors Wayne State University Police K-9 Havoc. He is an explosive detection trained Belgian Malinois that belonged to the late Collin Rose. Havoc was donated to the department by the family of Officer Rose in June 2017. He is assigned to Officer Thomas Box.
The collectible two-inch challenge coin honors Wayne State University Police K-9 Bruno. The Thomas Richards Charity donated the German Shepherd to the department in January 2018 in honor and memory of the late Collin Rose. Bruno is assigned to Officer Greg Roberts. He was bred by members of the Metro Detroit Schutzhund & Police K9 Club in which Collin was an avid member. Collin trained with both of Bruno’s parents before he died.
The collectible two-inch challenge coin honors the Wayne State University Police K-9 Wolverine. He was named after the late Detroit Police Department Officer Patrick Hill and was partnered with Officer Collin Rose at the time of his death. Wolverine currently works with Officer Greg Roberts to keep the city of Detroit safe.
